During our past experience in financial services, we’ve realized that while there are a lot of financial instruments available, there is a lack of genuine guidance on suitability assessment and in turn Financial Planning. Majority of Financial entity who position themselves as advisors are simply distributors of various products. This creates a huge lacuna in providing wholistic objective advice to investors.
This realization led to an epiphany, a need to create an avenue for trusted financial advice. And thus, was born the concept of Wealth Nation, a financial community which helps its members realize their life goals. We like to address our community members -WNites!

Wealth Nation is the brainchild of Jay Thacker, belonging to a business class family with an Engineering and an MBA degree. Jay has a background in Financial services with nearly 15 years of experience as a Professional. He has served for Nine years as Branch Head at premier private sectors banks such as HDFC Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank. He is also a Chartered member (CAIIB) of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF), an apex Banking body.
From the initial days of his career, he has been studying and investing in capital markets. And has experienced several market cycles in the last decade and a half. With an interest in studying how various economies and businesses function, he continues to be a student at heart and believes that learning never stops!
Jay strives for excellence in everything he does with a meticulous eye for detail. He believes in having an empathic approach as a Professional. He has the urge to enrich Society with Objective Financial advice and Transparent Financial solutions. Wealth Nation is conceptualized with the aim to free Indians from the shackles of monetary limitations and expand their horizons leading to fulfillment of Life goals.
